Former Ireland scrum-half Conor Murray believes Jack Crowley should start at fly-half for Ireland's Six Nations clash against England at Twickenham. Crowley made an immediate impact after replacing Sam Prendergast in the 56th minute of Ireland's 20-13 win over Italy, converting Rob Baloucoune's try and adding a crucial penalty.

Prendergast struggled with two missed conversions, prompting Murray to suggest head coach Andy Farrell may opt for the Crowley-Jamison Gibson-Park half-back partnership against England. "I think Crowley starts the next game because he did so well when he came on," Murray told the Ireland Rugby Social podcast. "We are going around a roundabout with this one and this is Jack's turn again."

Former international Mike McCarthy identified Ireland's scrum as a major concern heading into the Twickenham encounter, noting pressure from the Italian pack. "The big concern going into next week's game against England is the scrum," McCarthy said, highlighting issues with props Tadhg Furlong and Dan Sheehan being pushed up in the air. Meanwhile, Ireland centre Stuart McCloskey praised the "X factor" brought by Ulster teammates Cormac Izuchukwu and Baloucoune, suggesting there's "more to come" from both players.
