Hannah Cox completed an extraordinary feat, running 100 consecutive marathons across India in 100 days despite starting running just 18 months ago. Inspired by her father's death and Indian heritage, the 41-year-old followed a 4,200km route used by the British in the 19th century, quitting her job to pursue her Project Salt Run challenge.

Her journey faced numerous obstacles: dangerous highways with cows and snakes, extreme heat, sickness that caused her to lose over 10kg, and even a collision with a motorbike that left a scar. Cox maintained a strict routine of running 15km segments between meals, finding hydration and nutrition on the road with minimal support from her four-person team.

The runner had a surreal encounter with Richard Branson at the Taj Mahal during her challenge. Cox is still trying to recoup personal loans totaling significant amounts while continuing fundraising efforts to reach her £1m target for environmental charities, proving her commitment to both the physical challenge and the charitable purpose behind it.
