Cardiff Stadium Wants Fury vs. Joshua Fight

Principality Stadium in Cardiff is positioning itself as a prime venue for the highly anticipated all-British heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Stadium officials have expressed strong interest, citing the venue's history with major boxing events, including Joe Calzaghe's 2007 bout.

Cardiff has prior experience hosting Joshua, who secured victories over Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker in the city. The stadium's closeable roof, excellent sight lines, and central location are seen as significant advantages. A potential November date has been discussed, but scheduling would need to accommodate Wales' international rugby fixtures.

Promoter Eddie Hearn previously confirmed that the fight agreement mandates a United Kingdom location, dismissing U.S. venue rumors. Both Fury and Joshua are scheduled for pre-fight bouts later this month before a potential meeting later in the year.
