After clinching promotion with a win at Reading, Cardiff City face a summer of contract decisions before any new signings. Defenders Perry Ng and Joel Bagan, plus midfielder Ryan Wintle, have been among the season’s most consistent, each nominated for player of the season, and will leave for free if they don’t renew. Keeping those core contributors is now firmly a top priority.

Loan players dominate the agenda.
