Caitlin Clark made WNBA history with a 45-point, 10-assist performance as the Indiana Fever beat the Seattle Storm 110-107 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The 24-year-old hit six three-pointers and made 17 of 19 free throws in 29 minutes, recording her fifth double-double.

"Some nights, you know you have it," Clark said. Fever coach Stephanie White called her "special" and "surreal." For Seattle, Awa Fam became the youngest at 20 to hit four threes in a quarter, while Dominique Malonga scored 28 points with 14 rebounds.

The record night came after NBA commissioner Adam Silver said Clark had become a "political football" amid debates over her treatment. Last month, Alyssa Thomas was banned for a flagrant foul on Clark, prompting Republican lawmakers to allege racially motivated attacks. Silver defended Clark, calling the controversy unfair and rooted in broader cultural issues.
