Bell targets silverware as Ulster prepare for Challenge Cup final

Angus Bell calls Friday's Challenge Cup final against Montpellier "probably one of the biggest things I've been a part of in my career so far." The 25-year-old loose-head prop, who has played for Australia in the Rugby Championship, 2023 World Cup, and against the British and Irish Lions, began his Ulster stint in December with a 61-7 win over Racing 92. His six-month sabbatical from the NSW Waratahs ends against French opposition before he returns to Rugby Australia.

Ulster chase their first silverware in 20 years at the San Mames Stadium. Bell missed the semi-final victory over Exeter Chiefs with a foot injury but expects the front row battle against Montpellier's international tight-heads and Wallaby Jordan Uelese to decide the contest. He described his time in Belfast as "probably the best experience" of his career, praising the young talent and bonds formed at the club.

Bell will soon return to his native land to complete his deal with Rugby Australia, which runs until the end of 2027. Before that, he wants to help Ulster lift a trophy for the first time in two decades and "create some memories" for the club and its players.
