Derry City's final eight home fixtures in the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division will stream live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport platforms. The broadcast deal with the League of Ireland expands coverage beyond the Candystripes' away games, which already receive live commentary on BBC Radio Foyle. All matches kick off at 19:45 BST.

BBC Sport NI executive editor Neil Brittain said the partnership brings League of Ireland football to audiences across the UK for the first time. League of Ireland director Mark Scanlon emphasized that expanded access helps supporters discover the quality of the domestic game. The agreement maintains LOITV's global reach while strengthening BBC's presence in Northern Ireland.

Derry City currently sit sixth in the table and chase a first league victory since late April. Their next match against second-place Bohemians at Celtic Park on Friday represents an opportunity to climb the standings. The Candystripes need points to close the gap on playoff positions with eight home games remaining.

Eric White handles commentary duties alongside former Derry striker Liam Coyle for the Bohemians fixture. This broadcast expansion gives League of Ireland exposure on a major platform, potentially attracting new fans to Irish football ahead of European competition qualifiers.
