Bath spent more than any other club during their record treble-winning season, according to a new Prem Rugby report. The champions invested heavily across all competitions, securing their first league title since 1996 while also lifting the Premiership Rugby Cup and European Challenge Cup.

The salary cap remains at £6.4m, though credits stretch this to £7.8m. Fly-halves command the highest wages at £260,000, with back rows earning £192,000. Wings are lowest paid at £132,000, while props receive £144,000. Excluded stars like Russell, Ford, Smith, and Itoje average £533,000 annually.

Bottom club Newcastle spent the least, failing to reach £4m total. Chief executive Simon Massie-Taylor emphasized the cap's role in maintaining competitiveness, noting six different winners in six years. Bath's financial outlay delivered unprecedented success for the club and demonstrated the salary cap's effectiveness.
