Zoe Backstedt has retained the Baloise Ladies Tour title a year after becoming the youngest winner of the race in 2026.

The 21‑year‑old’s campaign included a decisive time trial win on stage 3A, finishing the race with a provisional overall time of 11 hours, 27.08 minutes.

Only one second separated the Netherlands' Nienke Veenhoven—who won the final stage—from Backstedt, while Felicity Wilson‑Haffenden of Australia finished 22 seconds behind. Millie Couzens of England took fifth place, trailing Dutch rider Charlotte Kool.

Backstedt’s consistency over the stages and her strong time‑trial performance were key to her narrow margin of victory, cementing her place at the top of women’s stage racing.
