Charlie Atkinson crossed for two tries as Gloucester came from behind to beat Sale Sharks 21-15 at Kingsholm, securing their first back-to-back Premiership wins of the season. The fly-half's 76th-minute score sealed a remarkable comeback after Gloucester had trailed 12-0.

Sale looked set for victory when Alfie Longstaff and Tom O'Flaherty crossed early, giving the visitors a 12-0 lead. Ben Loader's try reduced the deficit before George Ford's 45-metre drop-goal put Sale back in front at 15-14. Gloucester lost Wales scrum-half Tomos Williams to a shoulder injury early in the second half.

The win moves Gloucester four points clear of Sale in the table and gives them a nine-point buffer over ninth-placed Harlequins, significantly boosting their hopes of qualifying for next season's European Champions Cup. Head coach George Skivington praised his side's fighting spirit despite their handling errors.
