Former Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has confirmed he won't return to football management before next season, stating this summer isn't the right time. The Danish coach was dismissed by Spurs in February despite only taking charge last June, with the club finishing 17th in consecutive campaigns.

Frank, who previously led Brentford, has been linked with several vacancies including Crystal Palace and Fulham roles. He revealed multiple opportunities have emerged since leaving Tottenham but chose not to rush into a new position. The 52-year-old is currently part of BBC Sport's World Cup punditry team.

The former Spurs boss reflected positively on his nine-month tenure, insisting the club has a bright future despite recent struggles. He plans to spend time with family while studying and observing other leaders in sport.

Frank will cover the World Cup for Danish television and BBC, plus experience the Tour de France. He emphasized that periods away from management allow for reflection and learning before embracing his next challenge with renewed energy.
