Tottenham Hotspur have sealed a deal for Germany forward Shekiera Martinez from West Ham United, with the 24‑year‑old set to arrive when the summer window opens in June. Martinez impressed in the WSL, netting six league goals in the 2025‑26 season and earning her first Germany call‑up in October. The move strengthens Spurs’ attacking options.

Martinez began her career in Germany, debuting for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2016 and tallying over 100 appearances. She transferred to West Ham, spent a loan spell at Freiburg, then returned to score ten goals in twelve matches during the second half of 2024‑25 season. Her pace attracted scouting by manager Martin Ø Ho. His performances earned him senior caps, debuting in Nations League final against Spain.

Ø Ho praised Martinez’s intelligent movement and instinctive finishing, saying she can clearly make a major impact in a squad that already boasts depth up front. West Ham will feel the loss of a player who contributed six league goals and proved decisive in crucial matches. Tottenham will look to integrate her quickly as the club pushes for a top‑four finish.
