Manchester United have completed the signing of Sweden winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken for a fee just under £400,000. The 23-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with the club, becoming their third addition of the summer transfer window. United faced competition for the player, who was under contract with the Swedish club until 2028.

Jusu Bah expressed her excitement about joining United, praising the team's togetherness and the coaching of Eva Olid. She is eager to contribute to the club's ambitions and create memorable moments with her new teammates.

The winger has spent her entire career in Sweden, having come through the ranks at Umea before moving to BK Hacken in 2023. She played a key role in helping Hacken win the inaugural Women's Europa Cup in May and has been a regular for the Swedish national team, earning 11 caps and featuring in all six of their World Cup qualifying matches this year.

United are still active in the transfer market and hope to add at least one more player before next week's deadline. They have already bolstered their squad with the signings of defender Andrea Medina from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City.
