Larne manager Gary Haveron described his side's exit from the Uefa Conference League as 'heartbreaking' after Lincoln Red Imps staged a dramatic comeback. Leading 2-0 from the first leg, Larne appeared set to reach the league phase for the second time in three years. However, two late goals by Kike Gomez and Manu Toledano levelled the tie, before Toledano converted a penalty in extra-time after Chris Gallagher's concession in the final minute. 'I think that's what ultimately the feeling is, heartbreaking.

So disappointed in that because for 82 minutes I thought we were absolutely brilliant,' Haveron told BBC Sport NI. He criticised his team's failure to take chances and cited small margins, including a suspected handball by Lopez that led to the first goal.
