Kilmarnock suffered a disappointing home draw against St Johnstone despite playing with a numerical advantage for 80 minutes. The Ayrshire side, currently bottom of the Scottish Premiership, saw their lead wiped late, prompting angry boos from the Rugby Park crowd. Manager Neil McCann expressed frustration, stating his team created numerous chances but lacked quality in the final third.
He admitted the atmosphere was uneasy even when his side led 2-1, affecting the players' performance. With only two league wins this season, McCann's side faces a tough test away to Celtic before a crucial run of fixtures against Aberdeen, St Mirren, and Hibs. The manager stressed the need for fan support, claiming his players are giving maximum effort despite the lack of results.
