Troy Deeney selects his Team of the Week after the latest Premier League round. Shea Charles earns a spot for Fulham after controlling the game in their clean-sheet win at Coventry. Since arriving from Southampton, Charles has added spark to a previously lacklustre side, with Fulham picking up results since his regular inclusion.
Nico Gonzalez is praised as potentially Newcastle's best signing. The midfielder provides the control and one-two touch play that manager Eddie Howe's high-tempo, Red Bull-inspired system requires. Deeney calls his performance "exceptional" amid a team built on pace and width.
Marcus Tavernier forces his way in as the attacking midfielder for Bournemouth. His goals have fueled a remarkable week: wins over Sunderland, AC Milan, and Man Utd, with eight goals scored and none conceded. The turnaround shifts the season from uncertainty to "unbelievable," with Tavernier central to the surge.
