Colin Kazim-Richards, the former Turkey international forward, has been appointed head coach of League Two strugglers Crawley Town. The 39-year-old, who retired from playing in 2023 after spells at clubs including Fenerbahce and Celtic, takes charge following Scott Lindsey's departure after a 10-match winless run left the club just two points and a place above relegation. Kazim-Richards, who played 37 times for Turkey scoring twice, previously worked in Arsenal's youth setup before his playing career ended at Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk.

Crawley owner Raphael Khalili stated the club conducted a 'thorough and highly competitive recruitment process' and believes Kazim-Richards is the 'right person to guide the club forward' at this critical juncture.
