City Launchs £10 Ticket Scheme for Local Residents

Manchester City will trial a £10 matchday ticket for adults living in wards around Etihad Stadium next season. Between 100 and 500 tickets will be set aside for each home game, with concessions at £7.50 and £5 for under‑18s. Residents of Ancoats & Beswick, Clayton & Openshaw, Gorton & Abbey Hey, Ardwick and Miles Platting & Newton Heath must prove their postal address to apply.

The initiative follows the club’s decision to freeze ticket prices for the 2026‑27 season and introduce a new £25 bracket for some midweek Premier League fixtures. City’s managing director of operations, Danny Wilson, said the move keeps the Etihad Campus community involved as the club expands. The scheme arrives as new manager Enzo Maresca steps in for the Community Shield against Arsenal and the first home league match against Bournemouth.

City’s last season saw the Pep Guardiola Stand open fully, drawing a stadium‑record crowd of 60,332 in May’s final game. The discount plan could boost local attendance, deepen community ties, and support the club’s growing fan base as it prepares for a new era under Maresca.
