This incident marks the latest in a series of demonstrations this season as supporters express frustration with the club's board. Wilson, who took over after Peter Lawwell's resignation in December, has been meeting with fan groups including the Green Brigade and Celtic Fans Collective in hopes of finding common ground. The Scottish champions lost the first leg 4-1, adding to the disappointing night.

Team manager Martin O'Neill criticized the disruption, which Wilson says illustrates the ongoing challenges facing the club. The chairman emphasized that while other issues affecting Celtic are recognized, urgent action is needed to prevent further protests. Wilson stressed that giving the team "every opportunity to achieve their objectives" must be the priority as the season continues.
