Casey Howe, a 23-year-old from Maguiresbridge, County Fermanagh, has had a career spanning Northern Ireland, England, and now Scotland. After debuting for Northern Ireland at 17 and winning a treble with Glentoran, she moved to Nottingham Forest and then helped Wolves gain promotion. Now at Celtic, she scored a stunning left-footed curler in a 3-0 win over Montrose, calling the experience 'surreal.'

Howe's journey was shaped by her parents' dedication, driving her to training in Ballinamallard, Cookstown, and Belfast four or five days a week. 'They wanted to give me the best platform to be the best I can,' she said, crediting their sacrifices for her success. After spells with Linfield, Glentoran, and Sligo Rovers, a prolific stint at Athlone Town caught attention across the water.

At Celtic, Howe thrives under head coach Grant Scott's attacking philosophy. 'We're trying to play a nice attacking brand of football,' she explained, noting the freedom to make runs and dribble suits her style. She believes this approach brings out the best in her, contrasting it with more rigid systems she's played under.

Howe's ambitions extend beyond club success, aiming to help Northern Ireland on the international stage. She acknowledges the challenges for young players from her region, where facilities aren't always nearby, but hopes her journey inspires others. 'It definitely gives you confidence as a player,' she said, determined to keep progressing.
