Burnley has secured the signing of Kazakhstan winger Dastan Satpayev from Chelsea on a season-long loan. This move comes shortly after Satpayev, who recently turned 18, inked a significant six-year contract with an additional 12-month option at Stamford Bridge.

Satpayev's transfer to England was pre-arranged, with his move to Chelsea set for January 2025 in a deal reportedly worth £3.4m from Kairat FC. "I'm very pleased to be here. It's a great opportunity for me in my career and a great club to show what I can do and help the team get back to where they belong," Satpayev stated. He added, "It is my first time playing in England and I'm ready now to take on the next chapter and have a successful time with Burnley."

This transfer is part of a series of loan departures from Chelsea this week, with Ryan Kavuma-Mc Queen heading to Portsmouth, Reggie Walsh joining Wigan Athletic, and Shim Mheuka also expected to move on.
