AC Milan have completed a club-record signing of Portugal striker Goncalo Ramos from Paris St-Germain for approximately £60m. The 25-year-old forward has committed to a contract running until 2031, becoming the first major arrival under new manager Ruben Amorim. This marks Milan's biggest transfer investment since Rafael Leao joined from Lille for £42m in 2019.

Amorim took charge after Massimiliano Allegri departed following a disastrous end to the season that saw Milan miss out on Champions League qualification. The Portuguese manager arrives with a mandate to rebuild the squad and restore the club's competitive edge in Serie A. Ramos's arrival signals intent to strengthen attacking options immediately.

Ramos scored 45 goals across three seasons in France, establishing himself as a reliable finisher in Ligue 1. His physical presence and aerial ability should complement Milan's existing forward line. Meanwhile, PSG are expected to lose several players this summer, including Lee Kang-in and Randal Kolo Muani, as they seek high-profile additions to a squad that secured back-to-back Champions League titles.

The signing represents Milan's attempt to bridge the gap with Italy's elite while PSG prepare for a summer of significant squad restructuring under their new leadership team.
