Goalkeeper Marius Muller has joined Aberdeen from Wolfsburg on a two-year deal. The 33-year-old told club media: "It feels nice to be here... I'm happy to be in Scotland." He hopes to bring quality through experience and mentality, emphasizing calmness and leadership. "We have to be one team – the players and the supporters in the stands. I hope they will see that I will give my all."

Muller consulted fellow German Denis Geiger, who was on loan at Pittodrie last season. Starting at Kaiserslautern, he played for Red Bull Leipzig, Schalke, and spent four years at Swiss club Luzern, winning the Swiss Cup in 2021.

Manager Stephen Robinson said: "Marius is an experienced goalkeeper who has consistently performed at a high level throughout his career. He'll add real competition, experience and leadership to our goalkeeping group. We believe his character and professionalism will be a real asset to the squad, both on and off the pitch."
