New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson could miss the next two months due to a right hamstring injury, according to sources told Ian Rapoport and Mike Garofolo of the NFL Network. The 22-year-old was injured Thursday during joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars after catching a pass and landing awkwardly.

Coach Kellen Moore noted the injury is different from Tyson's previous hamstring issues at Arizona State. While Moore declined to set a definitive timetable, a two-month recovery window would place Tyson's return around Week 6, leading up to the game against the New York Giants.

Prior to the injury, the No. 8 draft pick had been practicing fully every day in training camp. The Saints will open their season against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 13, while the team prepares for upcoming joint practices in California against the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams.
