Rams Super Bowl LXI Favorites at +500 Odds

The Los Angeles Rams opened as +500 favorites to win Super Bowl LXI, the shortest preseason odds for an NFL favorite since 1995, per DraftKings and ESPN Research. The Bills and Ravens trail at 10-1, marking the sixth-largest gap between first and second choices. BetMGM's Christian Cipollini noted football's parity makes such short odds rare.

L. A.'s odds shortened from +800 after acquiring All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie from Kansas City in March and All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett from Cleveland in June. Cipollini estimated Garrett adds "an extra win to a win-and-a-half." Despite heavy betting action making the Rams a liability for books like Caesars Sportsbook — Joey Feazel called it "one-way traffic" — history shows all 23 teams with preseason odds of +500 or shorter since 1995 failed to win.

The last to do so was the 1994 San Francisco 49ers at +200. Meanwhile, last year's Super Bowl participants, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, entered 2025 at 60-1. Sportsbooks have tightened the midfield, with 16 teams at 25-1 or shorter for 2026.
