Amazon is pausing its operations with 21 Air, the cargo carrier operating the Amazon-branded plane that crashed in Miami, killing five people. The decision was communicated to 21 Air leadership on Sunday. The crash has brought scrutiny to airline owner Jim Crane, a logistics magnate and owner of the Houston Astros, who owns 21 Air.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident, including 21 Air’s safety practices and pilot actions. Amazon had worked with 21 Air for nearly two years prior to the pause.
