OpenAI and Synopsys announced a strategic partnership to develop GPT-Synopsys, a specialized AI model for semiconductor design. Customer data will not be used to train the model. Greg Brockman, president and co-founder of OpenAI, said the collaboration helps engineers build better chips faster, enabling better AI for more people.
