The ElmorLabs PMD2X is a discrete power management device designed for tinkerers and hardcore overclockers to monitor systems at a hardware level. This latest update adds per-wire current, power, and voltage monitoring to its 12v-2×6 and 12VHPWR capabilities. The software now includes an audible alarm that triggers when individual wires exceed maximum thresholds, functioning similarly to a Cooler Master GPU shield. Additionally, the PMD2X supports Seeed Studio XIAO boards for wireless connectivity, though setup requires extra effort. This makes the device suitable for both daily safety monitoring and intensive overclocking. The ElmorLabs PMD2X is available for $109 on the official store.

Key specifications include 2x EPS 8-pin connectors, 3x PCIe 8-pin connectors, and a 12VHPWR connector supporting up to 51 A. It features an OLED screen, USB Type-C for logging, a buzzer for warnings, and firmware updates via USB. Dimensions are 145 x 120 x 28 mm.
