Starting today, many if not all Apple Stores around the world have received a new "hello" decoration somewhere in the store for the purposes of testing iPhone camera zoom. Like the iPhone 17 Pro models, the new iPhone 18 Pro models that launched today offer up to 8× optical zoom.

The decorations serve as a practical testing tool for customers to try out the enhanced zoom capabilities of the latest iPhone Pro models directly in store. The "hello" theme echoes Apple's iconic branding.

Apple's online store was previously down ahead of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max pre-orders, which began at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, September 12. The "Surprise and Shine" Apple event also saw announcements including the foldable iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.

Apple Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, California recently reopened with three key design changes, including the return of a Genius Bar instead of a Video Wall, plus dedicated Apple Pickup and Today at Apple areas.
