With nearly three decades of innovation, RingCentral has grown into a global company generating more than $2.6 billion in annual revenue. Today, the company is embracing AI-native ways of working by giving every employee room to experiment with ChatGPT Work and Codex.

“When you put real AI tools in everyone’s hands, the whole company becomes a product organization,” said Kira Makagon, President & COO. The company’s AI-Native Challenge allowed thousands of employees, including non-technical staff, to build complete projects using AI tools, creating a working model for faster product development.

The same AI approach accelerates development of RingCentral’s AI portfolio—AIR, AVA, and ACE—shortening the distance between an idea and a shipped feature. As one engineering leader noted, “AI-native development isn’t about replacing engineers—it’s about amplifying them.”

Non-engineering teams have also adopted AI-native workflows. The Program Management Office (PMO) uses ChatGPT Work for automated status reporting and project management. “ChatGPT brings my project context together,” said Vaneet Seth, Senior Manager. What started as an experiment has become the operational backbone, reducing manual coordination and enabling greater accuracy across projects.
