Starting today, August 4, 2026, Waymo is making its fully autonomous rides available to everyone in Dallas via its app. Since launching in February, the company has served nearly 150,000 riders from its interest list, facilitating errands, commutes, and social outings.

Waymo is expanding its services by conducting fully autonomous testing at Dallas Love Field Airport terminals, aiming to serve travelers soon. Additionally, the company will begin testing on Dallas freeways, a crucial step before offering these routes to the public. This expansion signifies Waymo's commitment to enhancing accessible and reliable transportation in the region.

The Epilepsy Foundation Texas, through its CEO Chris Justl, has lauded Waymo's service as a "transformational step forward" for individuals with medical conditions limiting their ability to drive, promoting safe and independent travel.
