Vibez is an open-source Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) written in Rust. It follows a unique workflow: Perform, Arrange, and Mix. Users can perform from a pad grid, arrange sequences on a linear timeline, and mix using a real console interface. A key feature is Capture, which turns live performances into editable arrangements by recording gestures and clips against the audio engine's sample clock.

Sections act as reusable multitrack loops, while the Arrange workspace handles multi-track audio, MIDI, and automation. The Mix mode provides a real console experience with four-band EQ, pan, faders, and support for VST3 and CLAP plugins.

Currently in v0.1.4 alpha, Vibez is primarily developed for Linux, though macOS and Windows builds are available. While it lacks audio input and MIDI recording in its current state, it offers a streamlined, high-performance environment for creators looking for a modern, code-efficient DAW.
