Dutch regulators have granted approval for Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised software, marking the first European endorsement of the technology. The Netherlands' vehicle authority, RDW, confirmed the authorization follows 18 months of rigorous testing, allowing Tesla's system to operate on highways and urban roads under human supervision. This milestone positions Tesla as a pioneer in EU self-driving adoption, with the company now targeting broader European rollout.

Analysts suggest the approval could revive Tesla's stagnant European sales, which rose 12% in February after over a year of decline, partly attributed to the aging Model 3 and Model Y lineup and CEO Elon Musk's polarizing public statements.
