PipePipe is an open-source Android app forked from New Pipe in early 2022, offering a faster, more stable YouTube browsing experience with enhanced features. It integrates Sponsor Block to skip sponsored segments on YouTube and Bilibili, restores dislikes via Return YouTube Dislike, and displays original non-localized titles. Users can log in to access restricted or premium content using cookies only for specified scenarios, such as retrieving playback streams on YouTube.

Media features include live chat overlays in danmaku style, AV1 and VP9 codec support for high-quality playback, and a music player mode with background playback. Advanced search filters allow filtering by keywords or channels, blocking shorts and paid videos for a cleaner feed. Playback controls feature swipe-to-seek, fullscreen gestures, long-press to speed up playback, and a sleep timer for bedtime listening.

Enhanced playlist support enables downloading full playlists at once, searching and sorting within local playlists and histories. The project is maintained independently, with no update exchange with New Pipe.
