The Port Revel Shiphandling Training Centre has trained 8500 pilots and captains since 1966 on a 25,000 m² shallow water lake. Using 12 scale models representing 25 different ships, the facility provides hands-on navigation experience that would be impossible to safely replicate on real vessels.
