Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims it targeted an Oracle data center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, according to Iranian state media. The alleged strike comes only two days after Iran threatened to attack American tech giants it deemed to be assisting American and Israeli military operations. Oracle was explicitly named on a list of companies that included Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, HP, Tesla, Nvidia, Boeing, IBM, and Cisco.

Oracle has ongoing cloud and AI partnerships with the Department of Defense, and founder Larry Ellison has strong ties to the Israeli government. UAE's Ministry of Interior reported engaging 5 ballistic missiles and 35 drones on Wednesday, followed by 19 ballistic missiles and 26 drones on Thursday. Iranian state media did not specify when the alleged attack occurred, and Emirati forces have yet to independently confirm any successful strike on Dubai.

A Bellingcat investigation claims the UAE has downplayed damage and mischaracterized interceptions of Iranian drone strikes in recent weeks. Oracle did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The IRGC also said its forces targeted an Amazon facility in Bahrain, where the Ministry of Interior reported dealing with a fire in a company facility following Iranian aggression.
