The company commissioned the globally respected VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland to conduct objective performance evaluations. VTT's findings confirm Donut Lab's claims regarding the battery's exceptional fast-charging capabilities under demanding thermal conditions. The cell demonstrated stable thermal behavior while achieving a 0–80% charge in just 4.5 minutes at an extreme 11C charge rate, significantly surpassing conventional battery performance.

This independent validation provides crucial credibility to Donut Lab's technological assertions. CEO Marko Lehtimäki emphasized the importance of transparent, third-party verification in building trust within the battery industry. The launch video and detailed test reports are now available, offering a comprehensive look at the testing methodology and results. Donut Lab plans to release subsequent test results on March 2, 2026, continuing its commitment to open scientific validation.
