I built hjkl, a browser game to help remember Vim commands. It’s a little game you can play to unwind and get a bit of Vim practice in. There are still many commands I want to add, but I hope someone finds it useful in the meantime.
The game lets you practice skills like fixing typos, changing words, removing lines, trimming phrases, moving sentences, inserting text, replacing characters, copying text, using counts, finding within a line, searching documents, editing text objects, repeating edits, matching delimiters, jumping through files, and setting marks. Each skill runs two guided edits, two prompted edits, and two independent edits. Any valid edit that reaches the target text passes.
Type :help in Normal mode for current commands. Free, no account, nothing stored. Requires a desktop browser with a physical keyboard.
Includes a Vim commands cheat sheet at llms.txt.
