Co Maps, a fully free and open source app, is committed to supporting the FLOSS ecosystem as a viable alternative to proprietary software. The team has been working to ensure Co Maps interoperates well with other FLOSS Android apps while respecting user privacy.

Starting with Gadgetbridge v0.93.0, users can now use Co Maps as a navigation data provider, enabling turn-by-turn directions on supported smartwatches. This integration can be found under Settings > External Integrations > Navigation and works with devices like Infini Time.

Open Vitals also leverages Co Maps as a navigation context provider, allowing users to record outdoor activities with route data displayed alongside health metrics. This feature is accessible under Settings > Activities > Comapsnavigation guidance.
