Anthropic Labs rolled out Claude Design, a research‑preview tool that lets users generate visual assets—designs, prototypes, slides, and one‑pagers—through conversation with its AI. The service runs on the newly released Claude Opus 4.7 vision model and is being enabled gradually for Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. It is available for eligible subscribers now.

Design teams gain a rapid exploration loop: describe a concept, receive a first draft, then iterate via inline comments, direct edits, or custom sliders generated by Claude. The system can ingest brand assets—codebases, design files, DOCX or PPTX—building a reusable design system that applies company colors, typography, and components automatically across projects, and can be updated as brand guidelines evolve.

Product managers use it to sketch wireframes and hand them off to Claude Code, while marketers spin up landing pages, social graphics, and pitch decks that export to Canva or PPTX. Companies report turning weeks of back‑and‑forth into a single conversation, with prototypes that stay on‑brand without manual hand‑off. Claude Design now sits alongside Anthropic’s broader AI suite as a productivity boost, and integrates with existing design pipelines effortlessly.
