MLB Spring Training & Roster Moves
Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Roki Sasaki continued his difficult spring, allowing five runs and issuing six walks across just two-plus innings in Monday's exhibition contest. In contrast, Texas Rangers rookie Carter Baumler received a game-day confirmation from manager Skip Schumaker during a mound visit that the right-hander had secured an Opening Day roster spot. Meanwhile, the Chicago Cubs are finalizing contract terms with center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, locking up the dynamic young outfielder who emerged as a breakout star during the previous season.
