Poco has unveiled the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, two flagship smartphones sharing similar designs but differentiated by chipset, camera, and battery specs. The F9 Ultra features the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the F9 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series (SM8850-1-AB), which Qualcomm documents confirm has a slightly reduced Adreno 840 GPU with one less slice. The Ultra supports up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage; the Pro maxes at 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Both sport AMOLED displays with 185Hz refresh rates and 4,500 nits peak brightness — 6.6 inches on the Pro, 6.9 inches on the Ultra. Camera setups share a 200MP main sensor (1/1.56-inch), but the Ultra adds a 50MP periscope telephoto (ISOCELL JN5) and 50MP ultrawide (OV50M), versus the Pro's 2.5x telephoto and 8MP ultrawide. Battery capacity differs significantly: 8,050mAh Si-C on the Ultra, 6,330mAh on the Pro.

Both support 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging, carry IP68 ratings, and run Hyper OS 3 on Android 16 with four promised updates. Pricing starts at $699/€899.99 for the F9 Pro (12/256GB) and $799/€1,099.99 for the F9 Ultra (12/256GB), with Early Bird discounts available.
