Jackery, known for its off-grid power banks and home battery backup systems, has officially expanded its line-up at IFA Berlin. The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus V2 is the latest version of the brand's 2,048 Wh external battery, this time with a Red Cross Edition co-designed with the American Red Cross to include a built-in storm warning and preparedness system. The portable power station packs 2,048 Wh of capacity, can output up to 2,400 W, and can be expanded with additional battery packs to up to 12 kWh capacity.

The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Red Cross edition shown off at IFA has some neat tricks that help its users stay in the know and be prepared for storms and natural disasters. The station automatically tracks local weather conditions with a Storm Warning System and tops up the battery to 100% in the event that there is a storm incoming. It also includes an Emergency Power mode, which allows users to keep a percentage of the tank in reserve for emergencies.

Additionally, Jackery claims that the Explorer 2000 Plus operates at under 30 dB and can fully charge in just 1.5 hours. It also has an Emergency Power mode that boosts charging speeds for up to 80 minutes when time is of the essence. It is also said to be 34% lighter than the previous generation. The Explorer 2000 Plus is expected to launch in the US later in 2026, and pricing has yet to be revealed.
