Apple has unveiled its first foldable, the iPhone Duo, priced at $1,999. The device features a passport-like shape with a 5.4-inch outer screen and a 7.6-inch inner display, designed to avoid the square aspect ratio of rivals. Apple claims the multi-layer screen eliminates creases and offers up to 31 hours of video playback.

The titanium frame includes reinforced antenna lines and a complex hinge with custom torque. The iPhone Duo supports the Apple Pencil and is IP68 rated. It launches next month, competing directly with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8.
