England boss Thomas Tuchel believes a 'bit of rage' brings out the best in Jude Bellingham ahead of Tuesday's Nations League clash with the Czech Republic.

A sold-out Wembley witnessed a rollercoaster return to action after the World Cup as England faced Spain, losing 3-2 in a helter-skelmet opener following their Euro 2024 final defeat.

Bellingham shone particularly brightly against familiar faces, whose attempts to rile him only helped bring the best out of him. 'He likes that,' Tuchel said. 'He gets better if that happens. It's better if he plays with a bit of rage. It's what he does.'

Tuchel would love to start the 23-year-old for all four matches during England's autumn camp, but fitness concerns mean rotation may be necessary. 'I would love not to rotate, to be honest. I am not sure if it's possible.'
