The world No. 1, chasing her third consecutive title in New York, saved a 4-2 deficit in the decider before sealing the win with a second-serve ace.

Sabalenka, who has now won her last 10 tie-breaks at the event, extended her career record over Noskova to 3-0. The 27-year-old Belarusian will face either Jessica Pegula or Emma Navarro in the last four, while her No. 1 ranking remains at stake depending on Elena Rybakina's quarter-final result against Qinwen Zheng.

Reflecting on the match, Sabalenka said, "Thinking the match is over is probably what helped me to feel loose, go for my shots. I am super happy to get this win - a tough match, tough battle." She added that the high-pressure moments boost her confidence and energy.

Noskova, who had forced the first-set tie-break from 5-2 down, double-faulted at 3-3 in the final-set breaker and slipped 8-6 down after an unfortunate net cord. The 21-year-old Czech's 11-match Grand Slam winning streak came to an end, denying her a chance at back-to-back major titles.
