The Carolina Panthers will be without starting linebacker Devin Lloyd against the Cleveland Browns, as the reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Week has been ruled out with a calf injury. Wide receivers Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee) are listed as questionable. Coach Dave Canales expects Coker to play, but Legette is a game-time decision.

Lloyd is coming off a standout performance in the 34-3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, recording nine tackles, a sack, three pass breakups, two interceptions, and a defensive touchdown. He did not practice this week. The Panthers will rely on Bobby Okereke and recently promoted Tyrel Dodson, with rookie Jackson Kuwatch also on the roster. Claudin Cherelus was ruled out with a shoulder injury, and Maema Njongmeta may be elevated from the practice squad.

Coker leads the Panthers with 204 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He sustained his ankle injury in Week 1 but hasn't missed time, practicing limited throughout the week. Legette caught two passes for 64 yards against the Falcons, including a 55-yard grab. He practiced Wednesday but was held out Thursday.

Safety Nick Scott (rib) was ruled out, with Lathan Ransom and Zakee Wheatley expected to replace him. Outside linebacker Patrick Jones II will make his season debut after being left off the final injury report.
