UK startup Resolutiion has raised over $10.4m to build Risk-to-Resolution (R2R) infrastructure, a new AI category targeting commercial conflict management. Founded by Fayola-Maria Jack, former head of the UK government's Dispute Resolution Practice and Lloyds Banking Group's Disputes Centres of Excellence, the company is backed by Local Globe, Cherry Ventures, Octopus Ventures, and Chevron Technology Ventures, plus the European Union.

Jack, who also co-authored the UK Government Outsourcing Playbook, says she is focused on building a "generational company" and believes the next trillion-dollar tech firm will emerge from Europe. Investor Tilly Fleming of Octopus Ventures highlights Jack's deep domain expertise and ambition to rethink how industries handle commercial conflict.

Resolutiion addresses the fragmented space between enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and CLM where risk, delays, and disputes currently rely on human intervention. Its Global Report on Commercial Conflict 2025 finds nearly three-quarters of organisations report rising conflict costs. The platform centers on Octavia™, an AI agent designed to move beyond copilot assistance toward autonomous intervention across the risk lifecycle.
