Apple today announced that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available for pre-order starting Saturday, September 12 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time / 8 a.m. Eastern Time, with a release date of Friday, September 18. The initial launch countries include the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the U.K., Vietnam, and others. The devices will be available in 20 additional countries starting Friday, September 25.

Apple also announced that iOS 27 will be released on Monday, September 14. In related news, research firm TrendForce estimated prices for the iPhone 18 Pro models ahead of the September 9 Apple event, with the iPhone 18 Pro starting at $1,099 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,249, reflecting a modest price increase over the iPhone 17 series.

The September 9 event, scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific Time, is widely expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple's first-ever foldable iPhone, an Apple Watch Series 12 with a ceramic case option, an Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 with and without noise cancellation. Major design changes are not expected until next year, when Apple is anticipated to introduce a radically redesigned 20th-anniversary iPhone.
