Xiaomi has officially unveiled the 18 Pro series, featuring the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Extreme Gen 6 chips. The lineup consists of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, both already on sale in China with a confirmed global release. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch display and the "Extreme" chip variant, while the standard 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch screen and the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor.

A major highlight is the camera upgrade. The Pro Max upgrades its main sensor to a 200MP 1/1.28" unit and changes the periscope to a 200MP 3.2x module, offering greater zoom range despite a shorter telephoto lens. The standard 18 Pro also adopts the 200MP main camera. Battery capacity sees a significant increase, with the Pro Max featuring an 8,500mAh battery and the smaller Pro offering 7,000mAh. Pricing in China starts at CNY 6,000 for the 18 Pro and CNY 7,000 for the Pro Max, though global pricing is expected to be higher. Xiaomi India has confirmed the global launch will include the series, generating anticipation for availability and final pricing in international markets.
